Controlled-release vaginal vitamin C tablets Prevegyne® is recognized by the SOGC and clinically proven to help reduce/relieve symptoms of non-specific vaginitis/bacterial vaginosis
Non-specific vaginitis/bacterial vaginosis is very common. It is even more common than yeast infections (Candida). It is believed to be the most common vaginal infection in women of reproductive age.
Many women who have non-specific vaginitis/bacterial vaginosis experience no symptoms. For others, the most common symptoms include a thin, milky, white or grayish vaginal discharge with an unpleasant fishy odour.
Non-specific vaginitis/bacterial vaginosis is associated with a drop in the number of protective bacteria (lactobacilli) and a subsequent overgrowth of harmful bacteria in the vagina.
